The rule is, don't eat grains unless you have to and if you do, surely make
them whole grains. Whole grains are much better than refined. That is what
the studies have shown, not that whole grains are a miracle, but that the
part we are throwing away is the only good part for us. Get as much fibre
as you can in your diet, and do this by eating fruits and vegetables.
